Writing your thesis resources

Academic language support run workshops exploring the requirements and key linguistic & structural considerations of each main chapter of a standard empirical research report. This course is divided into five sessions:

  1. Introduction
  2. Literature Review 
  3. Method 
  4. Results & Discussion
  5. Conclusion & Abstract.

For individual thesis writing support, please book a 121 appointment with one of our writing tutors. Go to the Academic Language Support page in the Study Skills Hub and follow the instructions.
 
Resources for research students are available through the DRCD Canvas page, offering sessions such as ‘Different thesis styles, writing & finishing’ in Week 3 which looks at the different thesis styles (Paper/Monograph) and provides an overview of expectations regarding writing and finishing your thesis
