Your group project is an important element of your Master's course, during which you will be working closely with other members of your class and/or students from other courses. The objective is to provide experience of working as part of a team, organising the various elements of the project within the group, meeting deadlines, and improving your reporting and presentation skills. It also provides the opportunity to take elements taught on the course and apply these in relation to a practical scenario.
