Barrington Library is based at Shrivenham campus. Please check our opening hours before you visit.

Barrington Library has friendly, knowledgeable Library staff. Please speak to a member of staff at the Welcome Desk and they will be happy to help you.

Study spaces

Barrington has both quiet and collaborative drop in study spaces. There is no need to book – just find an available seat. We have Defence Academy PCs for those with Academy Network (AN2) accounts. We also have monitors with HDMI cables as well as keyboards and mice if you'd like to hook up your own laptop and use our free Wifi. 

Group study rooms

Barrington has three bookable group study rooms that you can book in advance. Book a study room

Printing and scanning

We have printers on both floors of Barrington Library. You will need an Academy Network (DA) account to print. The Welcome Desk staff will be able to help you request an account if you don't already have one. If you have a small, one-off print request please speak to the Welcome Desk staff who will print reasonable requests on your behalf.

Borrowing stock

Barrington has a growing collection of books and periodicals. The Welcome Desk staff will help you borrow or return books or other printed items.
