Study spaces

Barrington has both quiet and collaborative drop in study spaces. There is no need to book – just find an available seat. We have Defence Academy PCs for those with Academy Network (AN2) accounts. We also have monitors with HDMI cables as well as keyboards and mice if you'd like to hook up your own laptop and use our free Wifi.

Group study rooms

Barrington has three bookable group study rooms that you can book in advance. Book a study room

Printing and scanning

There's a printer on the ground floor of Barrington Library. The Welcome Desk staff will be able to help you set up a printing account if you don't already have one. If you have a small, one-off print request please speak to the Welcome Desk staff who will print reasonable requests on your behalf. If you would like to print from one of the Defence Academy PCs in the Library (rather than your own device), you will need a separate Academy Network (DA) account - please ask at the Welcome Desk for support.

Borrowing stock

Barrington has a growing collection of books and periodicals. The Welcome Desk staff will help you borrow or return books or other printed items using our self-service machine by the entrance to the Library.

Access to the secure Reports collection is by prior arrangement - please get in touch.
