Library Services
You can use this machine to borrow and return print items from our collection. Just use your University ID card and follow the instructions on the screen.
We also have a library app which you can use to borrow items as an alternative to this machine (as long as you have an NFC-enabled phone and allow the app to use location services).
You can reserve and renew print items using the app or by logging into your online account via our library website. If you reserve a book that is on loan to someone else, we will let you know when it has been returned and when you come to collect it you should find it on the Reservations shelf to the right of the machine.
You can search our print and online collection via Library Search on our website or, if you just want to check something quickly while you are in the library, there is a dedicated Library Search terminal to your right along the window facing the airfield.
As you visit each information point in order, you will unlock a password. This one unlocks the letter C. Once you have completed the tour, go to the Welcome Desk and give the password to a member of staff for a sweet treat!
