Postal and scanning services for print materials

Postal delivery and returns

If you require access to a print copy of a book, and are unable to collect from Bouverie House, we will post items to any UK or ROI address using the Royal Mail's Special Delivery service.

To make a postal request:

  • Find and reserve the item you want in Library Search
  • Select "Postal delivery - mail (UK only)" as your pickup Library
  • Wait for an "Item available" email and respond with your current postal address. You will need to sign for them when they arrive, so you might prefer to use your work address.

Return books by post:

When you are ready to return items to us, please contact bouveriehouselibrary@cranfield.ac.uk to arrange a free postal return.

Scan it for me! Request an item

If you only need to read a single article, book chapter, or conference paper from our stock (and it isn't available online), we can scan and email it to you. Please check we hold the item in stock using Library Search first, and then complete our online form: Scan it for me! Request an item to be scanned.
