Book a study space

Book an individual study space in MIRC (10 spaces) or use a terminal in the Bloomberg Suite (3 spaces). Seating has been reduced to allow for social distancing.

We are sorry but no University PCs are available for use in MIRC. Please bring your own device. Through necessity Bloomberg terminals (including keyboards and mice) will be available.

How to book

  • You must book a space before you arrive at MIRC.
  • Book up to one week in advance.
  • You will receive email confirmation that your booking has been successful. Do not delete this email. You will need it when you arrive. Please also make a careful note of the location and number of your allocated seat.
  • Before you book a seat in the Bloomberg Suite: You must have set up a Bloomberg for Education account, received confirmation from us that it has been authorised, and created your terminal login. Follow steps 1 and 2 *only* from our blog post to set up an account if you haven't already done this. We also recommend that you look at Terminal Basics’ BMC modules so you have a better understanding of how to use Bloomberg, as we are currently unable to offer any in-person support.
