Book a study space

Need a quiet spot to study? Book an individual study space in the Library. Seating has been reduced to allow for social distancing. We are sorry but no University PCs are available for use. Please bring your own device.

You are also unable to browse the print collection on the shelves.

How to book

  • You must book a space before you arrive at the Library.
  • Choose a slot - 9am-12pm, 1pm-4pm or 5-8pm each weekday.
  • NEW: You can also book a study space in the PC Hub on weekends during August, 1pm-5pm.
  • Book up to one week in advance.
  • You will receive email confirmation that your booking has been successful. Do not delete this email. You will need it when you arrive. Please also make a careful note of the location and number of your allocated seat.

Before you visit

To help keep everyone safe, please read our health and safety guidelines before you visit the Library.

On arrival

  • Find your allocated study space using the new directional signage and check-in using the code on the seat or via your email booking confirmation.
  • Please sit only in your designated seat and do not move furniture.
  • Wipe the desk and work area before and after you use it with products from the nearest sanitise station.
  • Check out when you leave the library.

Remote access to PCs

No University PCs are available for use. Please bring your own device. If you need to process data or require access to software and licensed applications available in the University computer labs, please see:
