Problems with noise? Text us

Please tell a member of staff if you are being disturbed by other students in quiet or silent study areas. If you would prefer to stay anonymous you can text your location to 07769239031 on weekdays (Monday - Thursday, 8.30am – 9pm; Friday, 8.30am - 5pm), and we will investigate.

If you are experiencing low-level noise, we can also give you some free earplugs that may help you concentrate - just ask at the Welcome Desk!

Want to visit?

If you do not study or work at Cranfield University, you are still welcome to use our library. Students from other universities can visit us if they are members of the SCONUL Access scheme, and members of the public can use our printed stock for reference purposes.

Visitors are welcome during normal office hours, Monday - Thursday 8.30am - 9pm and Friday 8.30am - 5pm.

Read our Information for visitors on the University website.

Please note: If you are working for the University on a contractual basis, are a temporary (agency) staff member or are an external partner, you will need to set up your University account before you can access our lending services and online resources. You will need to complete the IT username request form first, then once you have your University username and password, please visit the library to complete a confidentiality agreement form. Visiting academics should have their account authorised by HR and will therefore receive library access automatically.
