Rachel has worked for Cranfield at Shrivenham since December 1993 where her first role was in current awareness.
Rachel is currently responsible for developing education and research support across the Cranfield libraries, including open access, REF preparation, and research data management).
She heads the Alumni Library Online working group which develops library provision for all Cranfield alumni. In 2013 she co-founded the Alumni Library Forum with Suzanne Griffiths in order to help other university libraries develop their alumni library services.
In addition to these roles, Rachel manages the Russian Military Studies Centre on behalf of the Defence Academy.
